Home / fashion / WHAT TO DO?…

I am having a HAIR CRISIS!
When Jeff met me back in 2008…I had BLONDE hair!!
Then I went brown…then blonde again when I was pregnant with Reagan…
(are you seeing a pattern yet?!?)
Well…for the past…oh…2ish years I have been BROWN!!
It’s classy, easy to keep up and I love how it looks!
BUT the hubby has mentioned more than ONCE…that he is missing my blonde hair!
I don’t blame him…he kinda fell in love with the BLONDE SADIE…BUT I don’t know what to do!
 SO…I’m asking YA’LL!!

you look really good with both! however I am a blonde fan and feel that if your husband likes it a certain way you should do it that way. There are days I want to go dark just so the upkeep is easier but I know jefferson LOVES it blonde.

Highlights? Then you get the best of both worlds.

I dunno. Are highlights even cool anymore? :O

Also, I’m not sure you should make it blonde just because he wants it blonde. You’re the one who’ll have to care for it and do the upkeep and be in the salon getting roots done all the time and stuff. I mean, what’s going to happen when you go grey?

I know Adam has preferences with my hair (he likes my natural crazy curls the best), and if I straighten it or something, he screws up his face, but he’d never tell me not to straighten it.

If *you* really want it to be blonde, though, can you go with a darker blonde that will be easier to keep up? So when roots come in, it won’t be *as* urgent to get them touched up.

I don’t color my hair, so I don’t know how it all works! πŸ™‚

If you can afford the upkeep, go BLONDE! I’m dying to get highlights back in my hair, but I can only afford box dyes and 2 hair cuts a year! hahaha but you better believe that when Ry gets a job after law school I’ll be running to the closest salon!!

BUT- I do love you as a brunette. You have such beautiful eyes that are brought out by the dark brown.

Have you seen the new ombre trend? And reverse ombre? That could be cool. Might be a lot of work though, I don’t know.

i do the same thing, i love being both blond and brunette equally. so i did both. i went ombre. and i’ve never been happier with my hair. your hair doesn’t have to be long for it to work either, it looks beautiful on short/medium length hair.

good luck with your decision. whatever you pick will be beautiful.

I really like the blonde! πŸ™‚

Hmmm that’s a hard one because you look gorgeous with both…but, I’m really leaning more towards the brown! Either way you will look beautiful! =D

Ombre!! If you leave your hair its natural color and go lighter on the bottom, you can go blonde as far up as you want and not have to worry about touching up your roots. Plus, it’s hot! Remember Tara from our ward in Tuscany? She did mine and it looks bomb!

I think you look way cute either way! I am in the same dilemma. The only thing I hate about blonde is that it damages your hair… I love how soft my hair feels when it’s brown! Maybe do highlights? Or I agree with everyone on the Ombre… Love it! But Winter time I think brunette looks best, Blonde is more a spring/summer color. But that’s just me! πŸ™‚ I wouldn’t go super blonde for winter.

I would go blonde. Boys like what they like and even though he will love you either way, it’s important to know your hubby thinks you are hot!!:-)

Go with your heart πŸ™‚ I tried to be a brunette, but deep down in my heart I am meant to be a blonde!

  • I like it, I love it!

You look great with both but I think the dark is more striking. My husband likes me blonde too but he is ok as long as he sees some blonde in there. I would go ombre or add some carmel highlights around your face. It will brighten you up without the huge commitment of going blonde. Plus, going back blonde is a process and can sometimes be super hard on your hair. Go back gradually and you just might find that you like a darker base with some carmel highlights, perfect compromise!

Go blonde!! Why not right? I am thinking of getting some blonde highlights too! Right now I am dark and my hair feels a bit boring.

    We could dye ours together…

    Future link party? lol

    Good luck either way!

I prefer your brown hair – but there’s nothing wrong with going blonde for a wee while then changing it back?? πŸ™‚

Maybe it’s just the pictures you posted, but I think the brown is a bit more flattering for your skin tone- it really seems to make your eyes pop! But, obviously, if you really want to go blonde, do it! If you’re just craving a change, maybe try a new cut or something? That would be less up-keep and less damaging to your hair.

You Should do highlights! you look cute with blonde or brown!

  • Jessica

I was a hairstylist before I had my two sons, I personally wouldn’t go from brunette to blonde while pregnant..its a lot of chemical processing…
but besides that I think you look amazing as a brunette anyways:)

  • Nessa Bixler

What if you did a lighter brown, carmel-honey color? You could get the lighter lift – but it would be closer to your natural color and not as much up keep.

  • Ramblings of a Redhead

You’re cute blond or brunette…but I really like the blond! Mix it up! Why not!? You can always dye it back to brown πŸ™‚

  • Katy

You should go blonde! I am blonde and I love it:) It is a lot of upkeep and it drys out your hair but it is so fun to be blonde:)

  • marcalicious

    go red.

  • Jen Nelson

I like your hair dark. You can totally pull it off. But trying new colors is part of the fun of being a woman!
